Homeless International & Partnerships ...

All the initiatives supported by Homeless International are implemented by local partner organisations who support community based organisations.  By supporting local organisations rather than implementing projects directly, we are able to help build up local capacity and ensure the sustainability of the work.

Many of our partner organisations and the communities they support are linked together in a network of slum and shack dwelling communities called Shack/Slum Dwellers International (SDI).  Others are members of the Asian Coalition for Housing Rights (ACHR).  By networking in this way, people can learn and share their ideas and experiences and work together in creating solutions.

Click on these links or use the menu on the left to see how Homeless International supports partners in Asia and Africa.
